Groups 1 and 2
01/30/2008 08:39 AM by Rozack.

Group 1:
Tanks= Draknyne, Drakesan

Heals= Owdra, SkylerJames, Icebone

Dps/CC=RedFern, Flwrdragon, Hemiman, Kioe, Lyman

G1 Alternates= Grimclaw, Sparta, Katherwina,

Group 2:
Tanks= Tremant, Granksha

Heals=Holytim, Karneigh, Dallidd

Dps/CC= Finliath, Dormor, Necromycus

G2 Alternates= Sinistershad, Rozack, Niht

At this moment these are the Group make-ups. Some people are having to play alts to ensure that each group is up and running and thats fine as long as those people dont start to feel over worked from having to bounce back and forth throughout the week.

There are some puggers out there that are managment approved.
PUGGERS= Lrdmoose in any incarnation, Whario/Namine, Procdoc/Razordoc, Slae, Xequaas, OR any member of slaeFu.

Also For those in the guild that wish to get up to raiding status make it known so we can try to help you get to the lvl of gear you need and to make sure your attuned and keyed as needed.

WE are currently still recruiting openly but some classes are still in need for the guild overall.
Healers- Any healing classes at least 2
Tanks- 1 more solid Tank that dont have to take someone away from
their mains
Dps- Warlocks Mages Rogues Shammies need some more ranged all together.

Like i said we are openly recruiting still and will continue to do so. Raid groups will be set up as numbers show up and Raidleaders step Forward. I dont care if we have 6 Kara groups at some point as long as we are all on the same page moving foward and not gettin anal about how and when we raid then hell lets have fun with this.

Multiple Karazhan Groups
01/22/2008 08:42 AM by Rozack.

I know we have talked alot lately about group 2 being set up soon to get all our people raiding as soon as possible and moving into Kara.
We have Discussed a couple of different routes on setting the groups up but the best way may simply be to put up a sign up sheet somehow. Also your player info will reflect a K1 or K2 in the officer notes as this gets set to be able to track who is in which group.

This may Not start right away and could Possibly Be a few k1 alts in k2 just to help get it lined out and rolling.

Basic Group setup follows: this is an optimal setup
TANKS = 2
1- Full Prot or Feral MT - For Specs that are effective Reference Mancer
it may not be the best but i know it works.
1- Close to Full Prot or Feral OT more prot the better early on

HEALERS = 3
1- Healadin- IS a Must for the maiden fight
2- Either Druids or Priests can mix these up a little

DPS = 5
1- Warlock - Overall dps CC and wipe Recovery Technology
1- Mage - Downtime Diminishing Vending Machines with DPS to boot
1- Hunter- CC from traps and DPS..also good for blaming when things
go bad
1- Rogue- Don't drop the soap near these guys
1- ShadowPriest - good to have for the CC and the Vampiric stuff

ALTERNATES= Any spot replacements
Shammies- Heals or DPS depending on Spec. these guys are great in
in any raid simply for the overall bonus from totems
Windfury Totems are Crack for a Tank or any other melee
DPS warriors- Arms for the MS is great for alot of fights. Just so overall
Gear dependant that you aren't really effective til you
get the higher end weapons Fury is fast and good Dps
for adds in say curator
Ranged- can be replaced preferably with another ranged class
unless you just have to get melee in and vice versa
BOOKKIN- Furry Ranged lovins with + to Crits for casters :P

MINIMUMS
2-3 CC the more the better at times CC can even be an extra tank.
2-3 Healers. 2 once the gear is there 3 just helps alot
1-2 Tanks Best way for a tank to learn kara is to run with a geared
tank to see what they do.
2-3 DPS Just to finish out the group
This is what I consider the Optimal GRoup for a 10 man raid. And is by no means a Must HAve in order to raid setup All the DPS is Interchangeable and in some fights multiples of any class may work Way better then a balance of all classes Moroes and Illhoof being good examples.
Healers Are the same way the only fight you just have to have a paladin for is Maiden. 1 can handle it 2 is better. once a paladin understands the fight well enough to handle the cleanses on his or her own you can keep the druids and priests or even shammies in

Many of these Spots can Be switched in and out to tweak the group in certain areas. this was just my opinion of a good setup

At moment looks like the k1 and k2 leaders are gonna be Mancer and HolyTim. Will need Alternate Raid Leaders for each group for times when the leader is unable to attend the group can still raid.. Even IF Raid leader and backup leader cant make raid Someone needs to get it started one way or another

I prefer people to vonlunteer which group they wish to be in or we can do a Classic backyard football take turns picking until both full.
People not picked for the primary groups right off the bat Dont take it personal you will be pulled in if a group member doesnt show and once you are locked into that run you will take priority that week over the person unless your class just REally isnt needed on a fight and the other person is as in your dps replacing a healer.. but dps over a dps you will have more swing then the no show.
K1 and K2 will be set for alternate days. to ensure that extra people will be on to assist with an ALT to get the run going and such
EXAMPLE: K1- Tuesdays and Thursdays with MAke up TBA
K2- Wedensdays and Fridays With make up TBA
TBA= To Be Announced

This May not start up right away but its on the horizon so very soon we will be runnin Kara with 2 groups gearing everyone up as fast as possible and Hopefully very soon moving into Gruuls +.

I have complete Faith in everyone so lets see what we can accomplish.
